Scope of Work Outline
Leverage our expertise for your business! Dico custom and Grupo Mercadeo has an in-house team of retail designers, architects, and engineers that can apply their years of industry knowledge to helping you improve your commercial design layout. After we develop the perfect commercial design for you, Dico custom can provide a quote for commercial fixtures, equipment, furniture, wallcovering and signage shown in the design. This Design Service is
performed in 5 steps that usually take from 3 to 6 weeks to complete:
Step 1 – Floor plan layout idea
In this first step, our store designers will talk to you about your vision and what you hope to achieve with your new store design. The designers then create a color diagram drawing indicating departments and locations, square footages, and overall use of space for the type of commercial the client envisions.
Step 2 – Initial design and schematic
After you’ve had a chance to review the floor plan layout ideas, we get your feedback and any
changes that you want to make. From there, our designers create and complete a schematic
floor plan that shows store fixtures and equipment placement.
Step 3 – Fixture floor plan
Further consultation occurs between you and our store designers to review the initial designs
and to select specific equipment. From that feedback we will develop the fixture floor plan that
shows specific equipment and dimensions.
Step 4 – Interior Design, Decor & Signage
Based on your design direction, Dico Custom will present an interior design package for your review. The interior design package includes 3D computer generated color renderings of your
new store design, virtual material sample boards, finished floor plan with suggested decorative lighting, wall inishes, and signage/decoration ideas.
Step 5 – Equipment & Signage Quoting
An equipment list with estimated pricing and lead-times will be provided for your consideration.
